Nathan Fowler, MD
President and Founder
Associate Professor, MD Anderson Cancer Center. Specializes in the development of new drugs and treatment of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.  Received medical training at University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston, and Georgetown University. Prior experience as a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Defense Specialist, US Army.
Barbara Bowman, JD, RN
Vice President
Retired in February, 2014.  Formerly Vice President of Patient Services, MD Anderson Cancer Center and member of the Senior Clinical Operations team.  Led Customer Service Initiatives at MDA. Oversaw and coordinated the strategic and budget planning activities of Patient Service departments. Work history includes practicing law and nursing in the private and public sectors prior to joining MD Anderson Cancer Center in 1999.
Carol Buck
Interior Designer, Owner New Leaf Interiors, CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist), ASID Allied and IIDA member. Over eighteen year’s experience with The IRS as an International Tax Examiner. Stem cell transplant recipient for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2005. Volunteered at MD Anderson.
Shazia Khan
Account Manager, Seattle Genetics. Former Physician Assistant at MD Anderson and UTMB graduate. Long history of helping the community as a volunteer for organizations including Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Lighthouse for the Blind, and Texas Children’s Hospital.
Kathleen Fowler
Executive Director and Co-founder
Owner and sole proprietor of Alright Property Management. Owned and operated three multi-unit apartment complexes in Houston, TX, between 2002 and 2008. Nineteen years in executive sales and sales management. Hospitality Apartments Board of Advisors and Volunteer.
Sonia Azad Director Television News Reporter, KTRK-TV. Emmy Award winning journalist in Houston since 2009. Completed graduate degrees in Journalism & Law from Northwestern University and undergraduate studies from The University of Texas at Austin. Longtime community volunteer & notable emcee.
John Dazey Director Senior Strategic Accounts Executive with McCoy-Rockford. Registered Architect, LEED accredited professional. BA Liberal Arts UT Austin, Master of Architecture UH Houston. Prior experience as Principal/Owner RD Architecture, Project Architect Gensler.
Lance Johnson
Project Manager, UT Physician’s Group.  Former Litigation Consultant, Kroll Ontrack/TrialGraphix. Ten years as Internal Consultant at AIM Investment Services.
Dean Lee, MD, PhD
Assistant Professor, Pediatrics, Cell Therapy Section, MD Anderson Cancer Center. Specializes in caring for children undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplants, conducts clinical and laboratory research developing NK cell adoptive immunotherapy. Harvest Worldwide Ministries Board.
Cali Sokol
Patient Advocate Coordinator, MD Anderson Cancer Center. Former Assistant Manager, American Red Cross; medical photographer, small business owner. Graduate of the Liberal Arts.
Elizabeth Shpall, MD Director Ashbel Smith Professor of Medicine, Medical Director, Cell Therapy Laboratory. Director, Cord Blood Bank. Deputy   Chair, Department of Stem Cell Transplantation, MD Anderson Cancer Center. President of the American Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation. Directs the development of the most rapidly growing Cord Blood Bank in the Unites States, with 35,000 cord units collected and 15,040 banked from voluntary donations.
