What will my residence be like?
Each 659 sq ft apartment has one bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen/ dining area. Furniture, towels, linens, kitchen utensils and appliances are furnished. An alarm clock, coffee maker, microwave, television with basic cable, and internet service are also provided. A washer and dryer is also furnished for each apartment.
What is the charge to stay at a Halo House apartment?
Our guests are asked to pay $20 per day plus a one-time cleaning fee of $75. A $100 refundable security deposit is required at check-in.
Where is Halo House located?
Until our dedicated Halo House is purchased, housing is provided at the IMT at the Medical Center apartment complex. The address is 8181 Fannin St, Houston, TX 77054.
Is there shuttle service to the Texas Medical Center?
Shuttle service to the Texas Medical Center is available at specified pick-up locations within the apartment complex: shuttle schedules are available at the IMT leasing office. Halo House starts each family off by providing some shuttle passes at no charge. There is also a METROrail stop very near the apartments.
How many people may stay at the apartment?
Each apartment has 2 single beds, therefore a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child may reside at the apartments.
Are the apartments accessible to people with disabilities?
The apartments are not equipped with special devices or railings.
Are smoking, candles, or pets allowed?
No pets of any kind and no smoking or candles are allowed in the apartments at any time. Smoking in the apartment may result in the immediate termination of a guest’s lease.
