What will my residence be like?
Halo House has 29 one bedroom apartments and 4 two bedroom apartments available for guests. In addition to the bedroom(s), each apartment has a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a counter-top eating area. Furnishings include 2 TVs, linens, kitchen utensils, kitchen appliances, full sized washer and dryer, alarm clock, coffee maker, microwave. Basic cable and internet service are also provided.
What is the charge to stay at Halo House?
Our guests are asked to pay $25 per day for a one bedroom apartment and $35 per day for a two bedroom apartment, plus a one-time cleaning fee of $85. A $100 security deposit is required at check-in.
Where is Halo House located?
Halo House is approximately 2 miles southeast of the Texas Medical Center at 2940 Corder St, Houston, TX 77054.
Is there shuttle service to the Texas Medical Center?
Shuttle service to the Texas Medical Center is provided by Halo House to our guests at no additional charge. Shuttles operate 12 hours per day, 5 days per week (M-F). Shuttles are not available on holidays.
What type of beds are in the apartments?
Every 1 bedroom apartment has 2 queen beds. 2 bedroom apartments have 3 queen beds.
Are the apartments accessible to people with disabilities?
Halo House has two ADA apartments. Other than those two ADA apartments, the units are not equipped with special devices or railings, but are designed to accommodate a wheel chair.
Are smoking, candles, or pets allowed?
No pets of any kind and no smoking or candles are allowed in the apartments at any time. Smoking in the apartment, or in the common areas may result in the immediate termination of a guest’s lease.
